Major changes improving our service level occurred in 2016. We did a project for NASA, a first. We put Armor Glass on more stores for a well known burger chain all the way to Ocean Springs Mississippi (pretty little place).
Yet we also installed Armor Glass security film for hundreds of homeowners.
I just spent over a month in the field training new installers because we simply could not keep up with what we had with the crew that we had. It was exhausting but they even worked until dark on rainy Friday nights to get jobs done for clients – jobs that other installers would not have done with that kind of commitment to finish before a weekend, when the break-ins go up.
Armor Glass will also be fielding a crew in Dallas- Ft. Worth to service our clients there. Next week I will be there checking on projects, even meeting investors who want to get involved in our growth.
Last week our installations included a 4 story high rise condo – and the glass on a building housing a company being protested (at times they beat on the glass.) Yet, they now also have protection if someone falls into it, and when a tornado or hurricane hurls wind-borne debris at it. Same for the condo.
Stay tuned as 2017 appears to be a year for security concerns, which increase when there is chaos.
As a former 911 TV terrorism analyst, I see chaos dead ahead.
My best recommendation for 2017 is start by ‘armoring’ your weakest link, the glass in your home and office– because when it goes, you have zero security from human or Mother Nature’s intrusion.
